• Manages, organises, controls and coordinates the entire operational and repair activity of the workshop through shift supervisors and team/brigade leaders, and coordinates interaction with other units and workshops in “TPP Bobov Dol” AD.

• Ensures reliable, trouble‑free operation of generators, electric motors, unit transformers and auxiliary transformers, relay protections and interlocks.
• Maintains high technological readiness of generators and transformers.
• Ensures reliable operation of motors and relay protections to fulfil dispatching obligations.
• Monitors compliance with standards for auxiliary power (own needs) electricity consumption and proposes measures.
• Reviews equipment operating modes and introduces corrections.
• Participates in preparing repair schedules and prepares requests for taking units/installations out of service for current and emergency repairs.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for periodic inspections and tests of pressure vessels (high‑risk equipment) within the workshop structure.
• Participates in test commissions and investigations of incidents/accidents in the workshop.
• Performs rounds and inspections of equipment.
• Controls execution of operational instructions by subordinate personnel.
• In incidents and emergencies, takes necessary measures to eliminate them.
• Provides subordinate personnel with necessary materials, tools and workwear.
• Selects workshop workers, assigns them and develops their qualifications.
• Proposes disciplinary actions and incentives.
• In certain situations, performs the functions of Shift Supervisor.
• Completes shift staffing and prepares rest schedules.
• Conducts staff briefings/instructions.

• Higher education; specialisation: Electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of work in a thermal power plant (TPP).
• General knowledge of the main technical disciplines.
• In‑depth knowledge of: fundamentals of heat engineering; electrical machines and apparatus; electrical engineering; automation and telemechanics.

Location: Bobov Dol, Bulgaria.

Relocation is required, and the employment contract is permanent.
